I just realized that I have a TON of thread subscriptions, most of which haven't been active for over a year.

For those who don't even realize their subscription lists are probably growing exponentially, when you signed up for the forum or went in and modified your Options, you could choose how to receive a notification (if any). I chose to receive Instant Notification under my Options, so in any thread I post to, I'll know if someone posts after me by getting an email. It's a nice benefit, but after a while, the subscription loses its meaning...

Sorry, I'm down to 1870 subscriptions which apparently include all the ones categorized.

Edit: I'm down to 1740
Edit2: I'm down to 1130

I think the default setting is that it puts it in your all subscriptions folder with no notification.

I try to just subscribe to the threads that I feel I really need to follow. Once I get the information that I need or was looking for I usually delete them so I don't have to sort through them again.
