Does an XD with a fitted "match" grade barrel really benefit from using "match" ammo instead of "white box" ammo?

Even a regular old XD will benefit from Match Grade ammo.

Yes, match grade ammo has a stricter quality control process so it means there will be less variation from bullet to bullet.
