You are a hostage with the same type of situation as today at the Clinton campaign office. You are carrying your weapon. You don’t know if the bomb is real or NOT. What would you do?

That's a tough question. The facts are that a man has a bomb (real or not would be impossible to tell, so it counts as real no matter what) and a bomb is a weapon that will kill or injure me or others. Will I shoot? Probably, but not until I have a REALLY good chance at a head shot or I know that he cannot trigger the bomb after being shot and killed.

Why the emphasis on the killed? Because if the bomber is crazy enough to risk killing himself by using a bomb he will likely detonate it if he is seriously wounded. The only sure way to stop him is a shot to the head. If that isn't possible and you have to act at that moment, shoot the bomber so many times COM that he dies as fast as possible to prevent triggering of the bomb. If you shoot him and he's wounded but not dead yet, put one in his head so that he won't trigger the bomb.

No matter how you look at it, the bomber is going to die and the last shot will probably be to his head.

Now, if the bomber has a dead-man trigger system, you may well be screwed. If it's a small bomb (like a grenade) you might wait for the bomber to be in a more remote part of the room, shoot him, take cover and hope for the best. A dead-man trigger is a whole different ball game and everyone might lose, regardless of if you shoot or not.

Man runs in "I've got a bomb everyone on the f.........." BANG BANG.....BANG.

The thing is that for this to happen you have to be ontop of your game and be very situationally aware. Though it is the Clinton office so no one should have a gun in the first place. Maybe they need to put up some "bomb free" signs so the bad guys know they aren't spoused to have bombs in there.

I loved the news last night, they said "no one knows what his motive was" I laughed and said, nuts or not, his motive was to stop her from becoming president, pretty simple I think, and clearly a hole in him being nuts claim
