Do you concealed carry?

I'm guessing that all, or most of us here are firearms owners. I'm wondering just how many of you actually carry your firearms concealed.

I live in the great state of Wisconsin where I'm not allowed to carry a weapon because I actually heed and obey laws. Now, if I were a criminal, the law forbidding concealed carry might actually encourage me to carry.

I'll be getting my XD40 as soon as I get my final paycheck. Payday and last day are both tomorrow. If the final check is direct deposited tonight, I'll be hitting the store in the afternoon.

I'll be signing up for the first available CCW class at the same time, and apply for the NV and UT permits.

It's too bad you're not up in Reno. I just became an NRA certified basic pistol instructor, and I'm working with a guy as an assistant CCW instructor.

I've had my Texas CHL (concealed handgun license) for over ten years.
The first few years I didn't carry that much, it was just cool to have the license.
When I did carry, it was my Glock 26 IWB.
Usually only carried when I worked deep nights (I can't carry at work) when I got off around 1 or 4 in the morning.
I was divorced in 1994 and have been pretty much single, (dating but single) for over 12 years.
The last few years I started to carry more often.
On June 25th of 2006, I met my now current wife, we were married 7/11/07.
Since our relationship, I've developed a want to carry more often.
I guess I feel I have more responsibility for her safety as well as my own.
I didn't think much about my own safety until I knew I had someone else counting on me to be around.
Before I met my wife, I used to carry more on the weekends I had my kids.
Also as my daughter gets older (she is 13) I always carry when she is with me. My son is 17 and doesn't come over as much anymore.
My daughter thinks it is a bit weird that I carry, but she understands why I do.
I'm wanting to take her to the range, along with my wife, so they can experience shooting for themselves.
I'm also wanting my wife to learn to shoot along with gun saftey, so I can leave my house gun accessible to her.
She has the shotgun within reach and has shot it before.
But I'd like for her to learn a some handgun skills.
So after 10 years of licensed carry, I'm now carrying just about every time I leave the house.
Walmart, Lowes, downtown Dallas, anywhere Texas law allows, I'm now carrying.
I recently sold the Glock 26 and now carry an XD9sc.

I will qualify it by saying that I don't carry all of the time.

I live in alaska.... I carried before getting my CCW. It's legal but I wanted the permit. I teach school... the rule is no weapons on campus. So I park off campus and walk to the school. Gun locked in my car in a car pistol safe. If anything ever happens as in a school shooting I'll run and get my pistol and do the best job I can to stop the threat.
