i carried open when i was home on leave, but i wanted the permit mostly so i wouldn't have to take it off in the car, but concealed carry is a close second.
had to put "no, but will soon"

I carry everywhere it is legal to carry.
A few weeks ago I left the house and was half way to where I was going (Home Depot) before I remembered I FORGOT to grab my pistol. First time in a long time I had done that. I truly felt naked without it...not unsafe, but exposed...

I was among the first to get my CHL (Concealed Handgun License) here in Texas when the law passed and have been carrying on a daily basis since 1995.

I just started about a month ago when I got my permit. Now I feel naked if I'm not carrying. It's amazing how quick you get used to something that you went 29+ years without doing.

You betcha....'tis better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

Yep - I have a CHL (Concealed Handgun License) and I carry it all the time (where legal) I feel that if you have your CCW license its the right thing to do.
Society depends on good people doing the right things.
