and one more thing..!!!!!!!!!!!! this whole pick the ammo off the russian or chinese soldiers..well for one its prob going to be 50 yr old rusty surplus and second think of all the ammo and mags on the deseased american and nato forces...


and i wouldnt want to be on a battlefield carrying an AK wearing camo i bought at bass pro..you might end up shot by american soldiers or some other civie trying to go red dawn on somebody..if they see the AR they know you are american and have good taste lol

russian army uses 5.45 and the chinese are looking for a new round so pretty soon only armys useing 7.62 is third world armys that dont have the capabilities to get here.

the only thing the AK has that he still has going is being able to run dirty or muddy with out cleaning....but the chances of you runing it that dirty is nile to none...how many of you guys are going to be in a fire fight in tropical conditions

The Russian army used 3 different rifle calibers, the 7.62, the 5.45, and the 9x39.
You can build an AK for half of an AR build, the 5.56 has no range advantage on the M43. The M43 and a 7.62 NATO are pretty much identical when fired from a 16" barrel, if you can see it-you can hit with either caliber. A 10 shot pattern at 100yds from an AR and an AK will be about the same, just bigger holes in one target. Proven that many times, over and over again-neither weapons are tack drivers, both are more accurate than their users. How much 'seat time' do you have behind an AK?? I have almost 20 years behind both with more time on the AK than the AR...evidently you can't shoot long guns except for a certain few.....I'll put it this way, if you can put a hole in a quarter at 50yds on iron sights with your AR, I'll take my AK and make two dimes and a nickel out of it.
And if you have to stash your weapon, I bet you'll have to open it to clean out the dirt you buried it in, I'll just pop the top cover and piss in it....I might put the cover back on, might not...no parts to lose in an AK field strip.....
