what if it was like way tacti-cool maybe with a UMP 45 look..folding stock high cap mags, rails . . . forget it useing XD mags how about some 20 or 30 rounders that would also fit in the XD pistol, not very pratical but would be a cool range toy but in a little short carbine it would be awsome...springfeild could make a full auto version for law inforcment im sure alot of you guys would follow..id pay a grand for a UMP anyday.

I would love to see a gun like the Berretta Storm but that took XD magazines. I would rather not see one that re-use the XD frame but one that is a complete new gun.

I wouldn't mind getting an accessory package that easily converts it to carbine, but i'd like for it to convert back easily.

That has never been a primary consideration when buying a weapon - at least not for me.

Has anyone seen more on the assault rifle that HS is making? I'd be up for that if it was offered in the US.

I picked up a 9mm Highpoint carbine a few years back it's a pretty fun gun to shoot and my wife likes it my son said it's a hoot! and for about $150 it has performed better than some of the higher end carbines at the range, when we take it everybody kind of looks and laughs especially when I just spray carb cleaner down the barrel and push a patch thru it but they start looking hard after we have fired off 600-800 rounds with NO FAILURES!! and then I just toss it in the trunk and head home

The capability to share mags would be nice, but I already have a carbine. I'd really think about selling my carbine though if there was a carbine that took XD mags.
