Xd9 Sc/g26/g17/mp9 Sc

Which one? + Why?

I like all these guns, I need something smaller/lighter than my P226 to carry, but at the same time I've never had trouble CCW'ing a G17.

Never had a MP, but I've seen mixed reviews...

PS...I already have a XD9 Service

If you like the P226 and can CC a G17, just get a P228.

After shooting Darryl's XDSC .40, I couldn't imagine picking another subcompact.

The Smith is a very nice gun too. My wife has one. Its very accurate an has great ergonomics. My only bitch is that the trigger is a bit heavy, but that can be fixed.

Or what about a G19? Right in between the two.

Go to a range that rents them all and shoot them all if ya can.

I sold my Glock 26 to buy my XD9 sc.
I carried the Glock for 10 years.

The XD has a much better feel to it for my hands.
The Glock 26 has more bottom on the back strap and dug into the palm of my hand.
The stock XD sc mag floorplate has a slight lip on it that helped me grip the shorter grip.
Much better than the Glock grip.
I tried finger extensions on the Glock but didn't like them.
Don't need them for the XD.

I also like the loaded chamber and striker indicators on the XD.

Since I also have a bi-tone XD9 service, I only need 9mm ammo.
That is until I get the XD45 sc and numerous other pistols I'm wanting.

If you already own a Glock 9mm then the choice is easy, G26. I was super impressed with the G26s that I've shot, and if I were to buy a subcompact gun for CCW it'd be a G26.

However, it should be mentioned that the best course of action is to shoot them all if you haven't already, and build from there taking into account the price of accessories (if desired), initial cost, ease of maintenance, availability, and accuracy in YOUR hands.
