I carry both ways just depends on the situation for me. OWB is more comfy for me but IWB isn't unbearable. I live in an open carry state but it's not a common practice, so if I'm going somewhere where the sheeple flock I go IWB for concealment, everywhere else OWB.

OWB at the moment, generally because I'm pretty slim (5 foot 6, 180 pounds, 33 inch waist,) and an IWB holster won't fit in any of my pants comfortably.

I can conceal an OWB very easily when it starts getting chilly out by simply tying a flannel shirt around my waist (everyone I know is used to seeing me like that anyway) when I'm not wearing it.

When it's hot I just slip a pocket pistol in my pocket (an appropriate place for it.)

Now that I have lost 20 pounds, I am preferring it in the waistband. Plus, I just bought a slimmer, lighter, shorter carry gun.

IWB for me, It really isnt all that uncomfortable, and it gives me better peace of mind that the ppl around me arent getting worried. It also helps to give me a reason to keep of those extra pounds...
