which pistol
im looking for a new 1911 style pistol, and i have it narrowed down to 3 choices
Uses: target shooting, home defense and ccw. |

usp's are nice but i want to stick to the classic 1911 style in a compact package.

I voted for the Kimber. I don't have the II version, but I have 3 of the regular old compact. All of them have performed perfectly, and I use one of them for regular carry, my wife another one.

All too much money for me. Do $600+ guns throw bullets any better than the 'cheap' ones?? I'd get Rock Island....

Check out the Para Ordnance LDA models!
That LDA trigger is something dreams are made of! I regularly carry a Para C7-45 IWB and it is a great gun.
