I smoked PLENTY back in college, but I wouldn't smoke it now even if it were legal, makes me too lazy.
Definitely think it should be legal though....No worse than booze or tobacco IMHO....

I feel that kinda sums up my pot smoking..
Used to love it, but that was before I had people (family) depending on me.
I was younger, had no bills and didn't give a damn anyone but myself.
As much as I liked a good sensimilla buzz, I'm not so sure I'd be comfortable with it now..
But if it was legalized, I'd make a trip to Cali and me and Yuppiecide would burn one and hit a few strip bars...

That's just it, most of us have moved on from where we were "back in the day" but there is no sense or reason in laws which condone one set of drugs and condemn another set.
The prison populations are what, 1/3 killers, 1/3 thieves and 1/3 dope smokers? That's probably not very accurate, but how many tax dollars a year are being used to fight a weed? Here's a very minor example.

Ah, but a Glenlivet!

I'll splurge once in a while, it's 20$ a pint out here in the sticks.

For the same reason I don't drink much....I do not like not being in control of my self..... I am a fairly large guy {6'1" 270 and still benching 400} and if I lose control, it could be very bad.....

Just my opinion.....

I respect someone who chooses to live their life drug free.

I respect that someone chooses to abstain because of their job.

Do you really "Disaprove" of drugs, or only the drugs that are less socially acceptable?

Sure....as long as they admit that Alcohol IS A DRUG.

BTW, I always found it funny that at AA meetings and Drug rehabs there's always tons of coffee drinking and cigarette smoking going on.

I guess that a gallon of Coffee and 2 packs a day don't count as addictions.

alcohol and tobacco are legal now, and I still dont use them. I don't see why people are caring so much about what other people do to their bodies. Anyone against the legalization of drugs has to argue against alcohol and tobacco as well or else their position isn't consistent.
