Talking Political Forum Bring Out the Worst?

As much as I try to stay out of the Political forum, i find myself drawn there like a moth to the flame. Every time I get in there it tends to bring out the worst in me. Does this happen to anyone else?

Are you a Jekyll and Hyde in the Political forum?

I didn't vote because I didn't see, "Bring out the worst in a few" choice.

Definitely, that choice would be true.

If folks could just stick to facts and questions, it would all be good. And while that happens sometimes, when is does not (just like everything in life) a few can wreck it for everyone else. IMHO.

It's more intraspective than anything else. Besides I think you statement qualifies you for one of the choices above!

I guess it doesn't really matter since I've just completely blocked it from my active vision. A few people have turned me away from it.

What was it mom always said, "Don't discuss politics or religion when family comes over?" I think it is because these are the topics a lot of people are most strident in their views about so emotions run high. I know I mouthed off in there more than I should have. I play now in smaller doses and only after some thought about what I am saying. A man has got to know his limitations.

Politics have no place in any gun forum, unless the topic is directly gun related.

In every gun web site I have been to, the Political section is a nasty cyber-cesspool, and the nastiness tends to spill over to the rest of the site.

If it hasn't happened here, stay tuned, it will

This is my opinion. Your opinion may vary.

A section of this might be a good explanation, or at least it is funny as hell. (Stolen without apology from a post by KOL)

If the question is for "me alone" then No. I can be a much bigger arse than anything I've posted here.
