Call it what you want. It's easier to load magazines.

that's cool if you use it, i'm just messing around with those of you who do. i'm sure there's plenty of "girly hand" dewds on this board who can whoop my a__.
i'd use it maybe, if wasn't so slow and inconvenient. i gave it a chance but i can load my 16rnd mags 10x faster without it.

I did when I first got the pistol, but these mags seem to break in quickly. I own 3 mags, and they are all easy to load now. When I first got it, thumbs would hurt like hell, now im good to go

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Once the mags are broken in, it is not really a problem.
The wider 45 ACP mags are never a problem. The edges on the 9s, being narrower, tend to "bite" my thumb a bit more and I am more likely to use the loader on them.

I use it once in a while when my thumbs get tired of putting the last round in the mag.

Only when i get new mags and then only for the last round. When mags are new, some are tough to get that last one in. Other than that never.
