I just today bought the compact 4" 45. Until I felt a compact all the other XD's seemed to be really long in the grip (too long for my liking).
I'm a 1911 guy, but have tried drinking polymer koolaid. After 2 glock 30's and a 23 I decided I don't really like them. When I shot an XD45, I did better, but waited until I found the compact. I hope it grows on me.......

Service. The original and still the best. Not too big that I can't conceal it and not too small that my accuracy suffers.

Service and I love it. I wouldn't mind a Tac if I get into competitive shooting, but we'll see what happens.
