.45 ACP (there ya go slugger
On a side note, before the ACP came out, a friend's brother got a GAP. Not TOO long ago, another friend was given a GAP by his cousin (I guess he did some work for him on his house, so as payment he received the gun). Recently, my first friend's brother traded in the GAP for a caliber that wasn't dying (if it's not dead already). Unfortunately, so far we have been unable to convince the second friend to do the same.

I got the 9mm because I already had a reliable gun that shoots .45acp (Ruger P345). Also because 9mm ammo is a lot cheaper to practice with, and will still get the job done.
