45 ACP all the way... comp and carry. Nothing fits my hand better. Love my PT 145 for a carry gun. XD 45 for comp shooting.
Delta.. get a PT-145... it's as small as a XD9 subcompact and it carrys 10 rounds... and is a SA/DA and is cheaper. Love the XD9... but the cost factor of buying and reloading another cal. would kill me.

I have an XD9 SS BiTone 4", an XD40 SS BiTone 4", (2) XD45's (one Desert tan/black 4", one SS BiTone 5") and am considering getting a .357 Sig (or atleast a conversion barrel). Needless to say, I do like the SS BiTone look. I'm starting to wonder if I might be getting addicted to the XD (especially BiTones)????
Nah! Now maybe after a few more......

.45 G.A.P. - one of the few, the proud
Holy smokes! When I voted I saw that I'm one of only FOUR with a .45 GAP. Man, I knew I was in the minority, but geez. Guess the price lured me to it...picked up a 5" Tactical (NEW) for under $399 and got a free magazine to boot. Turns out that ammo, while scarce, is about the same price as .45ACP when I plan it carefully...about $18.50 a box + tax for MagTech, American Eagle and WinWB FMJ.
