Do you use case lube with carbide dies?
Though you're not supposed to need it, Dillon and Brian Enos recommend using case lube because it preserves the lifespan of the die.
Do you? |

I know there was another thread on this. I voted No, since in the past I have not. I have to date not had a problem with my dies wearing out. On my new dies I have started to do this, although not every case. Will I ever tell the difference? Maybe in 40 years.. I can see where commercial and very high volume reloaders would need to protect the investment, but I am not going to reach that amount of reloading.

I have reloaded tens of thousand rounds on various RCBS dies and have never had a problem with a finished product being out of spec. My father did have to send his Smith back for issues relating to wear at around 25K rounds or so (just guessing). Besides, if the dies fail, RCBS will replace them.
