Like the sh*t that went down in yosemite a few years back?

I left the Peoples Republic of California but I thought that CCW's were almost impossible to get unless you were LEO or had a GREAT reason.

Anyway,

Bike riding in Yosemite?
Sounds dangerous.
You should mount one of these on your bike:

Safety first.

I've got good reasons...but depends completely on where you live. If you're in Sac county, you won't get unless you're a politician or on their staff. I'm up in Placer county, where they are more reasonable about CCW.

We need more inof is this a harmerless model?
I would go auto 5or 6 vs 14(Sorry forgot you in comifornia Guess still twice the fire power @ 10) coyotes and other animals tend to travel in packs.
If falling is very likely I would (Can't belive I am saying this) maybe not carry one in the pipe

I vote for some big magnum, but of the two I like the 357M best. 45acp was designed for people and is good with people sized animals, but not sure about the thick hides and the thick skulls of bigger animals.

Somewhere I saw a video of a guy that got lucky with 'only' a 44magnum and a huge Grizzly. He hit the bear right in the heart with the first shot.

Enjoying my XD .45ACP Tactical. need to break in my 870, and my wife's XDSC9.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

HDR, Homeland Defense Rifle

Use the XD45. Carries more rounds and, to me atleast, is easier to reload.
