Why not ask Rich. After all He IS the Gunsmith that will be doing your work. http://www.canyoncreekcustom.com/Home_Page.html
Secondly I think this entire poll is a bad idea. I truly doubt that any forum member has had a trigger job done ( and shot extensively) by each of these fine Gunsmiths to give a qualified answer. If all you have experienced is 1 Smith's work how can you possibly answer this poll honestly. Yes, I have had a trigger job done and have an opinion. But like most of us here I have only driven one Smith's work. All this poll will accomplish is possibly some hurt feelings.

I'm a little biased because Rich has done mine, but I feel that it's hard to improve upon what was done.
I'd be interested to see pictures of the internals that both have done. I can of course post pictures of the internals of my XD.

Yea, that would be sweet. Is this something that any joe shmoe can do? I wonder if I'd be able to do it or not. But then again, that would cause me to ask, how correctable is it when I screw it up?

You would be modifying parts that SA will not sell to you. If you mess it up, your are SOL. Best leave the effort to someone with the skills.

Here's two pics for now. I'll have to clean up my XD and take a few more.

The trigger job was done by Rich at Canyon Creek.

Ok, ok-- here's a n00b question: Would/do either of these trigger jobs void the factory warranty?

It will certainly void the warranty on the modified parts which is why a DIY trigger job and sending it to just anyone can be risky. You want to work with someone who has the skills and SA contacts to do the job right.
