Yeah I know. I just also know some people are not as mechanically inclined as rest of us. Just thought they should be more on alert.

Grip Job Update with PICS

this is how i did mine there are instructions somewhere in that thread i have pics also... i dont recommend the sand paper technique because it removes too much metal, stick with the green and blue bottles of Heavy Metal Polish from Les Shwab.. you can control how much of the finish you want.. i personally didnt use a dremel.. but other people on this forum have used it..

any tips for getting into the engravings? Ive seen some that left it, and others that have the complete polished look.

I voted against it. Get a stainless barrel from an aftermarket dealer and polish that. Save the black barrel for resale purposes if you ever decide to.
