I like living here, it's a tactical nieghborhood. We have even had SWAT teams here hiding in yards (prone in the bushes) and turning out porch lights during thier sweep search for the BGs.

Whatever the Gov't. tells them too! DUH!

If they would let US gun makers sell to their citizens then I would welcome their products.

I'd love an affordable, well-made new production M1 Garand. Their 1911 is a good gun, from most of what I have read. They make a lot of nice guns. As it is, I don't have the opportunity to make a decision.

I bought a Norinco MAK-90. It's a good AK. Of course I'd rather have a US made product, but at $377 for one with a forged receiver, I couldn't pass.

I said yes, because I'd like to buy some of their new products and like the choice said, with the amount of PRC's **** we buy anyway, what difference does it make?

affordable and well made are like Military Intelligence....Oxymorons..... Especially with Norinco.

I am sure they have not had the experience SA, IHC, H&R or Winchester had making the M1. Just like the current production M1 Garands (receivers are not made by SA BTW.), I am sure they are a more brittle steel. More prone to cracking.

But hey you buy that Chinese junk. I will stick my US made stuff.

If you want a well made current production M1, try Fulton Armory.

Like the XD?

The Norinco 1911 is a great, affordable 1911. I've handled a few Norinco SKS rifles that were nice shooters as well. I'm not saying the Norinco version of the 1911 and/or the M1 Garand will be the equal of the originals, but I'm not planning on storming Normandy beach anytime soon, either. Sometimes good enough is just that. As I stated before, I don't have the option, so it's not a big deal, but I'd at least be INTERESTED in a Norinco Garand.
