From what I can tell from Fulton Armory's site, they are not new production M1 Garands, all of the listed Garands I can find on their site are rebuilt using USGI receivers and parts, not that it's a bad thing by any means, but I can't see anywhere that they're making their own newly produced receivers.

EXACTLY! It would probably cause a price war with Wolf and we would benefit from it with lower ammo prices. YES!

I love it when people call Poly or Norinco junk.....you pay for what ypu get and most of the Chinese firearms are really good, hell American made weapons aren't that good either-over engineered and overpriced! You compare it to the 1911.yea its a good gun, but not worth over $400-i like the second variation better, like a systima(sp)-the 1927 'revamp'. The Garand is OK, but not worth the price for 'rack grade parts guns', the 1903 is just an American Mauser and not that good of a variation as far as accuracy or price. Not all Chinese weaponry and other products are 'cheap and crappy'...you have to buy from other stores than WalMart and NH Northern.....

The last time I used norinco crap ammo in my friend's Colt HBAR carbine, the primers kept falling out of the case, and into the trigger assembly, causing the rifle to either not fire, or not feed correctly, out of 150 rounds, this happened 6 or so times, it may be cheap, but I'd rather pay 5 bucks more for better ammo that i wont have to take apart the rifle and go at it with a dentist pick every 5 minutes. Norinco sucks, plain and simple there is no getting around it, why spend a little less on a rifle and get crap. rather than spend a little bit more on a good one, when you are already spending good money in the first place
