I was swimming the other day and one girl remarked ewww... you don't shave your pits.

This thought had never occurred to me. I remarked that it must be a metro thing. I'm curious to how many men specifically do it.

Unless you are a member of the olympic swim team, I can't think of any reason a straight guy would do that.

Holy crap! You've got to be kidding me. Any man that shaves any part other than their face is queer. The only exceptions that I could think would be guys that are into bodybuilding competition, or highly competitive cylcing (which I find it hard to believe that a little fur on the legs will make you lose - but I understand that it's done), or professional swimmers.

Heck, where I grew up - folks would stand in line to whip your @$$ for something like that. I'd tell the girl that she's got her sexes confused. Only bee-yotches shave their pits, unless their european skanks or a skank like madonna.

Logic dictates that if you want the girl, and she doesn't dig your Don-King-in-a-headlock pits, then you at least trim them enough so they can't get wrapped around your belt loops.

And having been stationed in Hawaii for a number of years, I've seen plenty of dudes at the beach sporting a hair sweater. I'm talking dudes that would have benefitted from a pair of hedge clippers, or massive electrolysis (I suspect nothing short of the electric chair could effectively shock all of the hair off them).

I used to get some serious pit sweat and asked my doctor if there was anything abnormal about it. He advised that trimming the hair would help a bit. If that makes me metrosexual, than tell my girlfriend that and she can tell you otherwise. I'd rather have short pit hair than abnormally large sweat stains in the middle of winter.
