WHAT XD FOR USPSA Production
Okay currently I am using a 4in 40 in L10 Division. I just recently started shooting USPSA and used what I had available. I have been thinking about getting a different gun to use and maybe go to production So I guess the question is what is best to use xd 9 tac, xd 9 4in
EDIT: okay I guess I needed to add the 40 to the list but I cant now so either or the big question comes down to 4 in or tactical

If you reload or are thinking about reloading I would shoot a XD-40 for Production. Your Service would be find assuming you have not added to many modification that are not allowed in production, a Tactical would be even better. 40S&W loaded down to 130-135 power factor using heavy 180 grain bullets is one smooth shooting round. I an XD-40 Tactical Minor loads are very flat shooting. You will be hard press to find recoil as nice with any 9mm. Not to mention the larger diameter bullet may get you a few extra point every once in a while. For that matter an XD-45ACP with minor load would probably be an even sweeter production gun when it makes the list.
