Why not choose the cheapest. I have tested a lot of ammo to make my decision. They perform the same for me. Buying the cheaper round only makes sense. The cheaper the round the more practice I can get with it. I agree that money should not be the only reason but why buy a 4 dollar round when a cheaper round will do the exact same thing. --- Performance > Accuracy > Price

Cost should only play a role in range/target ammo.
base your decision on results alone - its your life and that of your loved ones you're discussing.

Winchester PDX1 165gr. Check Youtube for tnoutdoorsman's channel. He tests pretty much any round/caliber combination in a fairly real world application.

I carry the Gold Dot 180gr, mainly because that is the ammo a LEO friend of mine carries. He likes them so I thought I would try them. No problems so far.

Ranger t and the winn bonded are almost the exact small round from what i have been learning. I carry government over run of the PDX, white box, 180gr bonded. $25 for a box of 50 instead of the 25 for 25 PDXs. I have some 155gr TAP as well, but its just sitting in a spare mag. But I would also carry HSTs as well. They are great rounds. I carried those in my .45. Amazing reviews by some LEO buddies of mine.
