XD-SC 9mm for carry vs. 40

I tend to lean toward .45's..but my compact is a .40...the argument could be made for shot placement over caliber but with this aside..I say .45 ACP all day long...

9mm vs 40S&W

9mm-more rounds in the mag and faster follow up shot cheaper practice ammo a little iffy that wally world will have it every time you want to shoot

40S&W-few less rounds in the mag a little snappy for quick follow up shot bigger bullet then 9mm always atleast 1 box on the shelf at wally world

I have both (40 and 9 SC) but only carry the 40. If I wore a large jacket more often I would carry my XDm 40 a lot more, but that is rarely an option in Florida.
