i think it's against the law if you are under the influence of any substances (drug, alcohol, etc.) However, I don't know what's the limit, like the % in your blood, etc.

Not the only one, Krackels. I've gone out with the deputies and had one or two...It's never been a problem here.

Seriously, I won't disarm myself at Thanksgiving dinner because we happen to serve wine with dinner and I won't disarm myself because I've had one beer or because I've been chugging cold medicine to clear up my couch.

I wouldnt drink and carry simply because it could result in my permit loss. I know that I am fine after 1 beer and I dont really drink that often but if I got a speeding ticket or was in an accident they might put them together.

I recall reading (for Michigan at least) that any detectable amount is illegal.
What that means in practice I don't know. I tend to avoid all together, or nurse a drink if its socially awkward to refuse outright.

I have ZERO problem drinking a beer or three at my home with my gun on my hip. I only get 'drunk' when I'm at a party so I don't carry. 2-3 beers is too much to drive for me but not so much that I'm taking off my gun/putting it in the safe.

I would do the same at bars if it were legal. I usually don't drink much at bars...1 or 2, I'm often the DD anyways. Sorry, but 1-2 Guinness's isn't getting me **** faced.
