DHL is probably the most ghetto out of all of them. Some hobo looking guy in an old beat up van delivered the only package ever delivered by DHL to me. Their tracking is also lacking at best.

USPS is kind of ok, not really though. But often it is a the cheapest option, so sometimes I just suck it up.

FedEx. I ran a couple of software development projects for one of their smaller operating companies and am impressed with the corporation as a whole.

FedEx...it gets delivered early in the day, and less exceptions.
We used to use FedEx, and most exceptions were due to extreme weather.
Other than that, no big issues.

Unfortunately, my work switched to UPS because it is almost half the (negotiated) price. For USP, pretty much once a week, a missed pick-up, sorting error in their hub, and the dreaded lost package.

We only ship documents.

I know USPS gets a bad rep but i think their the BEST! they deliver on SAT and they are cheap.

Even though I work for UPS I'll agree with Sirius1963.
I've found FedEx cheaper for overnight and on over-sized ground packages (guitars and stuff).

I also use USPS 1st class and priority mail for most of my eBay and forum selling stuff.
Unless it is a high $$$ item, then I use UPS because the tracking is much better...1LL

Fed ex is better and less in your face with commercials etc... I have a neighbor that's been with fed ex forever and he loves it..

I wish there had been a third choice. I like both of them equally.

Most of the stuff I receive comes via UPS; and I tend to use them more than FedEx. I've used FedEx for most of my outgoing business in the past; but today UPS is just as likely to get my business.
