Well, Im changing a few things up a bit on my shotgun. Things im getting
-18.5 in barrel -eagle arms shotgun stock pack (tan) -tri rail mount -flashlight -new stock and forarm -slide tube assembly I just dont know if I want syntetic or wood. If I got wood, the stock pack would look wierd, but im not sure of what I want. (i also have an od green stock set if you want to trade me for something on the list) Thanks in advance. Shay

I bought a wood stock set for my 870 off of dasani and I love it. Really nice buttpad and it looks great. Pistol grip shotguns are for mall ninjas.

So, what you are saying is that people who use pistol grip shotguns are nothing but mall ninjas? I wonder what the hundreds of Military Personnel serving in Afghanistan and Iraq who are currently using Benelli M4s would have to say about that. Last edited by Jarhead1987; 11-01-2009 at 08:38 PM. |

Personally, I love wood, but I think that synthetic is lower maintenance and lighter. I could be wrong considering that I don't have either...

My HD gun is old school wood, I like the looks, i not carrying it so weight will only benefit me with recoil reduction and wood butt strokes harder..lol

I voted for the synthetic look. Just because you are adding all the tactical accessories.
I own three shotguns. A Remington 870 that has wood and will stay that way, an old school S&W 916 Riot Shotgun with wood that will also stay that way. Both of them will stay with the wood just because it is the "classic" look. I also have a Mossberg 930SPX that has synthetic furniture. I love wood and synthetic. I guess it just depends on the shotgun. One thing I will never do is add a pistol grip to any shotgun. I like my shotguns with the "standard" look. Don't know why, I am just funny that way I guess. I also do not like the shotguns with the VFG on the forearms either. Just me I guess. Good luck with your project. |
