plain for me, WAY easier to sharpen and i like my knifes really sharp. serrated knives are harder to sharpen and a plain blade does just as good if its sharp
Exactly! Plus the one serrated edged knife that I had tended to fray or leave ragged edges on things when I cut them.

Plain edge all the way!

Out of the options I'd go with the half and half but would rather 1/3 serrated 2/3 plain. The reason being is that both have the straight edge but the serration adds that extra cutting ability that just rips through stuff. Maybe a sharp straight edge can do it, but even a dull serrated edge will still aggressively cut through anything.

I've carried a partial serrated for about 10 years, and I really don't care for it. A plain edge will be my next purchase.

I had to pick ninja stars to patrol the mall with, it was too good of a choice not to pick.

I like my blades in either Plain, or 1/3 serrations.

i like the half and half. i keep meaning to sharpen the normal edge of my knife. i havent yet but isnt a big deal since the serrated is still nice and sharp. it is 2 knives in 1.

I have always prefered plain edged. I have tried serrated but found that a properly sharpened plain is just as good and the serrations make little difference for what I use my knives for.

Mostly boils down to personal prefference.

I didn't vote, cause you didn't have an option for both. Different applications, different blades. Overall, I have more straight than serrated, though.
