Holsters

So my wife said that she would get me a IWB holster for my anniversary gift. The ones that im trying to decide on are: Crossbread Super Tuck, Minotaur MTAC, and Kholster. Anybody that has one of these could you please tell me any pros/cons of it. Also if makes a difference im 5'11" 240 stalky. And this would be for my XDm.

Thanks

I'm the same height as you but 220 lbs and the supertuck is the way to go. I love mine. my wife loves hers and I'll buy one for every pistol I ever own.

Nice gift from the wife! Search the forum and you will see a lot of feedback/reviews. I have had an MTAC for short while and am very pleased. Just this week I received QuikClip from Crossbreed which has proven to be a great purchase as well. (Yes, not a supertuck but the intent is to say the product fit/finish/service, etc is great)... it will be rare that I don't carry IWB after getting these two great rigs.

voted for the CB....I have one for my 1911s, one for my XD and a quick clip for my j-frames....I love the CB system.

I also use a simple don hum IWB I will use with my XD for quick trips, it works well with an untucked shirt but not so much when I need to tuck my shirt in.

Kholster.... I have never owned a Crossbreed but everyone says the Kholster is VERY similar. They also come with a unconditional no B.S. guarantee. Return it for any reason, if you aren't happy, just ship it back. If it breaks, he will fix it.

This guy is so good, there was an error in getting my holster in left handed , and a right handed one shipped, wether it was on my end, or the server, I don't know, I swear I clicked left, but anyhow...He let me give the right handed away to a buddy..for FREE. I would like to see that kind of customer service everywhere! He apologized and shipped me out a left handed right away.

PLUS

heres a 10% off code

09-1858, enter it in paypal and he refunds it that day or the next.

HIGHLY recommend Kholster!

My personal preference, after owning a Comp-Tac Minotaur, is DM Bullard's Dual-Carry - It's all leather, tuckable, comfortable, and I think the best value out there @ $60.00. I think there are better holsters out there, but you're probably going to have to exceed $100 to beat it.

Just my $.02, and worth every penny .

I have both the CB super-tuck and a DeSantis TT2 and wear them with shirts tucked in. Both are comfortable.

CB ST
Pros:
- is molded to your specific gun so the fit is good
- easy to reholster
- wide leather base against your body distributes pressure. Did I say comfortable? Yes!
Cons:
- Cost ~ $80
- Metal clips tend to bend
I've had some issues with the rear clip (metal) on my CB ST bending when I sit, either from torque created by sitting with the gun holstered or also from catching the clip on a chair. Nothing too serious, I just bend it back into shape. Don't know how many time I can bend it back before it breaks. hopefully, never...

D TT2
Pros:
- strong belt clip
- easy to put on and take off
- ~$30
Cons:
- cannot reholster one handed due to opening closing when gun is removed.

Good luck in your quest!

Crossbreed supertuck my friend. Simple as that. Now if only I could find a good level 3 leg holster for my XD we'd be set.
