none at the moment - that will change as soon as i get a quick access gun safe.
I think the dog and alarm would give me enough time to wake up and open a safe.

You're lucky to even have that foggy, semi-awake state. I sleep like a log. A very very old and very dead log. Prolly have to shoot me first to wake me up.
Having said that, I keep all my guns loaded, and +1 except the 12ga. My fiance sleeps lighter than I, and she'll get first shot off with her ready-for -action XD.

+1 to the "none" option.

My gun is only loaded IF I'm at home (it is for personal protection after all). When I'm at work, or away for a weekend, or whatever, I don't have a loaded firearm in the house.
