Where is the none option? I have never felt the need to keep a loaded gun in the house. I am hopefully going to get my CCP in March but even then I'm not sure I will keep a loaded gun in the house much more than I do now. My biggest fear would while in that foggy semi-awake state to make a mistake in identifying my target. Yeah there is some naivety here but I am not unprepared for a home intruder its just at present my plan does not involve a loaded firearm.

Honestly I didn't even consider a "zero" option when I put up the poll. In hindsight I'm glad I didn't. I'd like to hear from other members who do not keep loaded guns in the house and why they don't. bd |

Only one in my house, the CCW carry gun is obviously always loaded, and on me, the rest are locked up in the safe, unloaded of course.

All guns stay loaded, with one in the chamber.

ALL guns are loaded at ALL times.
even if the magazine is empty and the chamber is clear... the gun is still loaded.
