I don't see a reason to get upset about the proposal because they have someone they like. However, what is good for the goose is good for the gander. That means that they would approve of 12 years of Bush as long as the right kept electing him?????

The dynamic with the left is TOTALLY different - the right has never looked to empower the masses to vote based on the govt.'s ability to PAY them for this vote. Add the amnesty issues which will be on the table (and thereby adding another group of low income voters on the gov't. dole), and we start down an effective road to monarchy.
