not sure what to think, seems hes just electing him for his media personality mainly. But at least he doesnt smell like a Clinton crony

Gupta saved my friend's life after a severe head injury from playing rugby. I don't understand what the problem is here. There are enough other things regarding Obama to complain about, I don't think this is one of them.

I agree. Gupta's the real deal, not just a talking head on CNN.

I assume it's just because he happens to do the segment that this is causing a mini uproar.

Agreed. Another pretty face is okay, since there's obviously brains and capability behind it.

The CNN-as-employer aspect, however, kind of bothers me. No doubt Gupta leaves CNN if confirmed for SG position... but the connections - Gupta, CNN, Obama, favorable press - give me an uncomfortable feeling... kind of like Chicago politics' incestuous relationships.
