I am happy Isreal is at war with and KILLING terrorists. I am not happy about how they got to be at war.

So what, you think that because Arafat died they no longer see themselves as Palestinians? That they somehow became Gazans when Israel conceded the land? That somehow other Arabs and Persians miraculously opened their arms and welcomed the Palestinian descendants into the fold?

Eventually, one side will have to destroy the other for there to be true peace in that region. Why Israel has not done just that so far is beyon me.

The longer they wait....the worse it will be. The Palistinians will never be satisfied, no matter what they do.

Your line of reasoning forces me to ask the question: Why aren't the "Palestinians" attacking Egypt? The Gaza Strip shares a border with Egypt, not just Israel, and supplies and people could just as easily cross that border as they could the border into Israel. And yet Hamas doesn't fire thousands of rockets at Egyptian citizens. They haven't vowed death to all Egyptians. Why is this? If it's really about the living conditions in the Gaza Strip, why are you not equally outraged at the Egyptian government?

As far as the claim that Israel created and funded Hamas, so far I've seen one reference from a source that everyone has noted is suspect at best. If you are going to hang your hat on that argument, I'd say you've already lost the debate.
