Pentagon to Detail Troops to Bolster Domestic Security

I thought This is what the national gaurd is for?

I heard that just today too. Obviously, this is for no good purpose, and is a clear and present violation of law. Members of military are not allowed to act against its own citizenry, that is why only National Guardsmen, without wepaons were deployed on the border after 9/11 to "assist" in observing only, because a fear of violating the Posse Comitatus Act, against illegal aliens of all things. I remember their M-16's well, as they were locked up in our armory at the time. Any military personel who has come through the ranks knows Posse Comitatus inside and out.

the posse comitatus act only works if honored by the future adminitration.
and maybe the patriot act could render the C.A. null and void.
also a national police force would fit in well into this scenario.
one of the powers of the patriot act was to federalize all civilian police forces during a major threat.
the next leader's definition of threat should be clarified.
congress is an assembly of *hores and panic at the slightest provocation.
A savory speaker, pulling the right strings, could have congress lap
dancing within minutes.

we already have local leaders, (city,county and state) who act as though they listen to the people and even say they do but end up doing what they please 85% of the time inspite of what their constituents request. the federal system is just a mirror of the lower political structure.

we need representatives who listen at the lower level. then a change will be recognized at the higher levels of government. except for a miracle the mindset within our political system with take decades to reform.

Hmmm. . . . and to think just a month ago I posted a question to the Military guys and gals in the Military forum about this very thing. Of course, someone piped in and called me a crazy "moonbat conspiracy theorist" or something to that nature.

Yeah, I remember it well. It was actually from some military site, wasn't, it? I have kept that in the back of my mind ever since, especially because I googled it and found that it was substantiated on other sites. Spooky is right, this is starting to seem like a nightmare.
