How about that they don't have to be responsible for fixing this economy?

Oh!...Do the Dem's have all the seats in Congress now? Are there any Republican senators left?
Think before speaking, Etta. It will (and should be) a shared responsibility.

If the economy is bad now, wait for 2 yrs of national healthcare, cap and trade, card check, trade limits, and big taxes on business. Think Carter revisited, and YES, the republicans will need to fix it AGAIN.

Republicans won't get the credit or the blame for what happens in the next 4 years.

Credit? No way, you're right there.

Blame? They will be blamed for many years to come so on that score I don't think you could possibly be more wrong.

As Frenchy mentioned, this is a shared situation for the mess, but watch the "Blame Bush" crowd. This is an area you are already intimately familiar with. This post surprises me, coming from you.
