Ron Paul interviewed on KFI radio in LA. Here is the portion of the interview dealing with terror and full context.
Hot Air Blog Archive Audio: Why Ron Paul is a crank, episode 314 Click and listen for yourself.

He has been a local congressman for over 20 years (on again-off again as mine due to changes with redistricting). I am a political junkie and am very aware of his positions (as well as most local congressmen) over those years. I am not in Colorado or another state who gets the sound bites and bits and pieces. I know what he says on taxes and how he really acts. This interview ends as they start to discuss the border. He can talk strong border but has done nothing. He has done NOTHING to help Ramos and Campeon. I actually agree with some of his positions but he is such a nut that he is totally ineffective. Research how many bills he has gotten passed in his time in Congress.

All I have to say is what a sad state of afairs it is when a whack job like Ron Paul can look so damn good standing in the midst of his fellow DCers.

I know his record for getting stuff passed. Why would that suprise you?

I have heard the same critisizims over and over again ad nausium. I can look past the personality and focus on the issue. You have your opinion, I have mine. My opinion is that I wish we had 200 more of him in DC.

434 more of him would be much better. Anyway, to respond to the post before you...

He says it best in his book......

"Truth is treason in the empire of lies".

That's why it's impossible to get HIS laws passed.....there is NO money in it for the other congressmen, so why would they buy off on it? Also, he did restore to us a Constitutional currency based on Gold. It has already been used to circumvent the I.R.S. legally according to the Supreme Court.

I retort, what have YOU done for freedom's sake?

Just finished reading it. If you have a love of the Constitution, this country and personal liberty...READ IT. You know absolutely nothing about Ron Paul until you do.

I'm going to buy it just because of you. I'm not much of a book reader. Last one was Lance Armstrong back in his day. I mostly read tech stuff.

The only thing that was really holding me back from reading his books was because it would probably piss me off and send me into more despair for my country than I already have.

i am reading it with an open mind because it challenges much of what i believe. he does have a blame america sorta tinge, which i understand to a point. some of it is hard to swallow, but a good book and very informative.

Same here...It's been a long time since I've bent a binder.

There's much here that will piss you off...and then want to organize a lynch mob..
