Now, maybe you don't agree with some of the things they are spending our money on. I sure don't! But, SOMEBODY HAS TO PAY TAXES OR WE WILL GO INTO DEBT. I think it's morally wrong and totally embarrassing for the United States to be a debtor nation. This is something that third world countries do!!

I favor a pay as you go system, like what existed in the Clinton administration. You want to have a new program? Then you must find savings elsewhere.
Everyone should pay for basic services. thats why i favor the national sales tax rather than the ultra complicated tax system we hav enow

Seriously have you been living under a rock lately, or are you just too drunk off of the koolaid you have been downing. Just about every time either of them are interviewed its pretty biased, not to mention all the negative press they get vs Obama/Biden. Biden says some crazy stuff but does the MSM give it much attention, no, usually the smaller media outlets pick it up and then people find out by seeing it online vs through the MSM. An example of that would be the comment Biden made about if Obama gets elected there will be a Crises as other contries will try to test him.

As far as examples go for biased interviews 2 come to mind, first of all the Palin interview with Katie Couric and second, the one from ABC WHERE THEY FREAKING EDITED PARTS OF IT TO MAKE IT LOOK WORSE THAN IT WAS, oh and there is already a thread on the second example here

ABC edited key parts of Palin interview.

Also there was a poll I forget from which media outlet but the majority of Americans feel that the media is more Biased towards Palin than it is towards Biden. If you don't believe me YOU can google search it because I have better things to do with my time than to dig up facts for you when everyone on this forum knows there isn't much we can show you that would make you put down your koolaid. But just remember your also not going to convert a lot of people on this forum to switch to Obama either so really your probably just wasting your time.

So, you think questions like, "What newspapers do you read" are biased?

You're probably right, but the question is is it better for the economy to give people that make less than 250K a tax break or those that make more than 250K a year (and are more likely to own companies and employ people) a tax break.

While I'm not happy with the amount in taxes that I pay now (I think I should get a tax break as do all Americans), I don't see why Obama thinks that decreasing the amount of money in the pockets of the 'wealthy' is good for the economy.

Generally the lower class are mostly consumers (i.e. they buy stuff). However the upper middle class and above are consumers but also employers, investors, and business owners.

Seriously, why not give everyone more money back then they'll be able to buy or invest more as they see fit.

Yes, but we've been doing it this way for the last eight years and before that under Ronald Reagan. That way has run out of steam at this point.
