No one should be penalized for doing well.

But who should pay taxes? Who should pay for national defense, Social Security, roads, bridges, law enforcement, all of the services provided by the federal government?

Now, maybe you don't agree with some of the things they are spending our money on. I sure don't! But, SOMEBODY HAS TO PAY TAXES OR WE WILL GO INTO DEBT. I think it's morally wrong and totally embarrassing for the United States to be a debtor nation. This is something that third world countries do!!

I favor a pay as you go system, like what existed in the Clinton administration. You want to have a new program? Then you must find savings elsewhere.

This woman was reciting right wing talking points.

SHE was trying to tie Obama to ACORN and thought Obama and Biden should be embarrassed about ACORN.

SHE thinks Obama is a socialist.

SHE thinks the U.S. is going to be a second rate power in an Obama administration.

SHE fears the U.S. will become like Sweden.

It was obvious that she had already formed her opinion about all the questions she asked. I don't get that feeling with people like Tom Brokaw or George Stephanopoulis, even though they ask probing questions. I feel that they are playing devil's advocate.

It's the implication ... It was finally stated,

"I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everyone."

People understand that comment and many think exactly what is shown as a caption in the video I linked to,

"Good for Everybody ?? ... What about the guy you took the money away from ??"

It's a form of class warfare and Obama is counting on the lower wage people to get him elected, because he is promising them a check that is taken from those who work hard ... How many people actually wanted the stimulus check ?? ... Those who are supported via welfare and other entitlement programs would be my guess.

I favor a system that equals what we had prior to 1913 ... If you understand Ron Paul, you know what that means.

So, she can't ask questions because she has an opinion ??

Sorry, that's what true journalism is about ... Getting to the truth and getting answers.

Would you have preferred that she ask him what he had for breakfast ??

Well, maybe you're wealthy, but I think most of the people on this forum will get a tax cut under Obama.

You're right. Some reporters can ask very biased questions. I'm thinking of the Irish reporter who really gave Bush a hard time several years back. I bet he would never agree to be interviewed by her again!

Whatever! I don't care what she asked him. My initial comments are that Biden handled himself well and the Obama campaign is making too big a deal out of this.
