Both sides now

First they're all up in arms about this ACORN stuff - like we're supposed to just forget that Republicans have been trying and many times succeeding in suppressing the vote for years. That's probably why groups like ACORN even exist!!

Then, we have the accusation that Obama tried to interfere with negotiations with the Iraqi government in order to help his election prospects. This is something that Ronald Reagan was accused of in 1979.

What's that saying about the pot calling the kettle black??

Apparently at least one State Judge doesn't think ACORN and voter fraud that they perpetuate is a joke:

Ohio Secretary of State Ordered to Verify Voter Registrations - FOXNews.com Elections

Let's hope some other States see through this POS organization.

I see you're back in your old form Etta.

Yes, and Chuck Hagel and Jack Reed as well as Obama have disputed the allegations in this article.

Well, that should be enough for anyone, shouldn't it?

I noticed you blew off the story about the Ohio ACORN voter registration verifications. Why is that?

Florida Republicans Scramble to Suppress the Vote
by: James L.
Wed Sep 24, 2008 at 3:03 PM EDT

It's no secret that Democrats are posting a big voter registration surge in Florida. According to estimates from the Florida Democratic Party, Dems have added 287,770 new voters this year to the GOP's 112,290 (and 90,000 independents). While Republicans have been publicly brushing off suggestions that this trend is at all worrisome to their party, their actions suggest otherwise. So here's the latest ploy from Florida's GOP to tip the scales back in their favor:

Republicans monkey-wrenching the vote

In 2008, 3.5 million newly registered voters many of them minority and young voters energized by the Obama campaign, promise to strain the system with long lines and overburdened voting machines. Since these new voters could tip the scales against McCain in several key states, the GOP is already employing some bizarre tactics to further suppress their participation. A few examples:

The Ohio Republican Party filed a lawsuit because the Secretary of State is a Democrat this time. Back in 2004, it was a Republican Secretary of State, and there were major irregularities then!

Republicans don't like it when you turn the tables.

how do you suppress votes at free open voting booths in each community. What outside force, were republicans flooding streets, and cutting phone lines, and stop lights to creat traffic jams? How does one suppress another from leaving home and voting, or asking for absentee ballot.

By the way my first election i was able to vote, in 1996, i didnt get my absentee ballot at college untill 2 weeks after the election, i filled out all the forms and did everything perfect. That is the proof of a massive democratic party move to disenfranchise me, and other suburban white male youths. If i have learned one thing from liberals is once a president takes office EVERY agency is ruled with an iron fist, a la george bush. When/if god forbid obama is elected everything will be perfect. From this i can deduce that bill clinton personally made sure my ballot didnt make it to me in kalamazoo to suppress the white vote, right ?

dont forget about obama negotiating with canada also. Not jsut iraq. I believe he even admits to this. Though its not wrong in his mind, cause its a forgon conclusion that he will be ellected, right, so no harm done?

They purge voter rolls and throw up all of these obstacles to people getting registered.
