Obama and voters ID...

Obama: Indiana Voter ID Law Unconstitutional | U.S. Senator Barack Obama

Can someone explain to me how needing an ID to vote is wrong in any way?
If you don't show an ID, what is to stop anyone from going from poll to poll and voting time after time?
Or is this just what the Obama camp wishes to happen?
Afterall, this occured in Chicago in many past elections via Jesse and his crew...

Here in CA an ID costs $12. Poll taxes are a constitutional violation, so nothing that cost money can be required to vote. That being said, CA law is actually set up to encourage fraud and requires that a list of registered voters who haven't voted yet be posted and updated regularly. They have been known to litterally buss people from poll to poll, but now most campaigns hire volunteers to "watch" the polls, so it's "better."

same issue in detroit, not only is it unconstitutional but its just plain racist!

anything that disproportionally effects black folks negativley, even if only by 1 % is inherently racist, and designed from the onset to hold blacks down.

I want to know if Al "the gore-acle" Gore thinks every vote should count, how does my vote count at all if there are three dead people voting, and cancelling out my vote, and 3 illegal immigrant mexicans digging us in a hole by voting when they shouldnt even be here.

I mean for real they say cigarette tax is racist cause poor blacks smoke more therefore the tax hurts them more, there for cigarette tax is racist. Nevermind poor folks shouldnt be smoking anything, they are poor they need the money for food, if they dont then they arent really all that poor. Race has nothing to do with it.

showing proof of who u are should be common sense, but democrats moan and whine about this as if its too hard to do. This gives them the ability to have people vote in multiple areas like they did in Ohio in 2004.

I don't know how that works. I know some states have gone to debit card type arrangments. Would that qualify as ID? Anyway, state ID's are not expensive and anyone who states they want it for voting should get one free. That would solve that problem.

The real problem is that certain factions are afraid that the poor, and especially the poor minorities, are not interested in voting enough to go to the effort of getting an ID.

In GA an ID is required and the State will waive the fee if you just tell them you can't afford it. This still caused a major uproar, though not from the Obama camp. We're solidly Red here so he hasn't bothered.

i have always been told that you HAVE to legally have SOME Kind of state issued ID on you all the time and that you MUST present it if requested by a LEO or other person of legal authority. If you dont have ID on you - you can be detained until your ID can be confirmed by other sources. WTF is the big deal about having to show SOME Kind of VALID photo id to vote? I've had one in my wallet for 15 years, never leave home without it. I'm not ashamed of who i am and if you're doing NOTHIGN wrong why should you care? Last i checked anyway my register to vote has ALWAYS been at the DMV. Its real convienant since i do my address change there to do my voter reg.

Vote Early, Vote Often.

I'll tell you why he's against it...that son of a bitch knows that he needs every single vote to win and that includes those who are not legally able to vote. He wants ever single ex-con and illegal alien he can to vote for him. Why? More gubment cheese for them.
