I think Kable's post and my response is pretty clear cut. Your guy will screw over middle America with his healthcare proposal. I think it's hillarious for all the posts so far to say "a John .... sorry .... but bad idea". "See John .... if this is what you want to do ... well then Obama doesn't look like such a bad guy .... less of the anti-Christ that we all keep saying ..... so we're all a little confused and concerned John."

Ya .... this is pretty damned funny to watch you guys squirm with a bad and I mean BAD healthcare proposal.

Here is an interesting idea - BUY YOUR OWN DAMNED HEALTH CARE! I know this is a difficult concept for most because we are continually told by those that want to expand their power that we are too stupid to drive the right car, purchase health care, save for our retirement or come in out of the rain.

Why rely on the gubment or your employer to do it for you? If you think you get it free or at a reduced rate from your employer, you need to go back to school and learn about what it costs to employ someone. Its all part of compensation - salary, insurance, taxes, etc.

Here's the bottom line with my situation; I have a good job but I'm a million miles away from having "special insurance" or whatever they call it in the article. I like my current insurance situation (PPO) just fine right now. It's super good coverage for a fair price. Like my social security (I'm 52), I don't want it messed with at all. Everything is fine in that area right now.

If you think healthcare is expensive now, just wait till it's "free".

Yup... Talk to almost anyone in a country with "free" health care, its easy to talk to them because they are here getting things handled they cannot get done in their own country..

I am in a border town (30 miles from Canada), in a county of around 170k and we have an award-winning, nationally recognized cardiovascular center, think its because of the draw from our small county???

Every article written in the NY Times subsequent to Palin's pick, regarding Palin has been negative. Whatdaya expect? If you want to read articles about the joys of gender confusion, read the NYT.
