House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, when asked Tuesday whether Democrats bear some of the responsibility regarding the current crisis on Wall Street, had a one-word answer: “No.”
Pelosi (D-Calif.) ripped President Bush’s “mismanagement” of the economy and a lack of regulation that led to the current situation.
“I think the American people have had it with this situation where the middle-income people in our country are not protected from the ramifications of the risk-taking and the greed of these financial institutions,” Pelosi told MSNBC.
When asked whether the Democrats “deserve some responsibility” regarding the economic crisis, Pelosi responded: “No.”
“John McCain said that this is a result of overregulation by the Democrats in Congress,” she added. “Either he doesn’t know what he's talking about or he’s misrepresenting the facts as he knows them. But it’s simply not true.”
San Fran Nan obviously has amnesia. Barney Frank claimed just a short while ago that Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac were safe and sound. Maybe she forgot how many democrats have had their pockets lined through these 2 companies over the years. FM/FM have acted as a piggy bank for former clintonistas and sitting democrat congressman/senators.
Maybe she can explain how Frank refused to allow reform on these 2 giants when shady ENRON like accounting processes were discovered.

Democracy is two wolves, and a sheep voting for what's for dinner
She is such a stupid c*nt. You all know who was number two in monies given to politicians by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from 1989 - 2008 is, right? Yup, Barack Obama, and he's only been around for about 3 years.
You all know who was leading this company as the executives cooking the books for performance bonus based on profit per share? A guy from the Clinton Administration, a lady that is with the Dems, but I forget off the top of my head how, and a guy who was involved in Obama's VP vetting process.
The one guy took over $90 million in bonuses from cooked books. When they were being investigated, they actually dumped tons of money through lobbyists to get the investigation held up, slowed down, and attempted to get it nixed completely.
2003 Bush attempts to create a regulator group to monitor Fannie/Freddie, blocked by Democrats. 2005 McCain co-sponsored legislation to fix the broken sham of a regulation oversight from the Housing and Urban Development Department also blocked by Dems.

I am on record as not liking Pelosi either and exactly because reasons such as the quote noted in the OP. But, JT this quote of yours is disgusting and completely over the top.
