McCain Donation Thread... Walking the Walk.

Today I went to John McCain's website and made a donation of money to the campaign. I felt like I need to put my money where my mouth is. As I am able I will probably donate more money. But I gave as much as I could right now.

So... there is a lot of talk on PV... people talking the talk. Now let's see who walks the walk? Who has put up money to support John McCain and gun rights in the 2008 election?

Here is the link. John McCain 2008 - John McCain for President When you make a contribution feel free to add your name to this thread. Only those who put up real deal cash money need post here.

And thank you to all those who can say that I support McCain with CASH!

You meant to say "less gun restrictions" right? Gun rights is hardly a hard line McCain platform piece.

While I may consider voting for him if he is the only viable choice come election day (please don't make me re-explain what I mean by this) I will not support a leftward trend in mainstream status-quo politics. The status quo doesn't need my help. Their campaigns are subsidized by the propaganda machines. I'd rather walk the walk of a conservative until then thank you.

ETA: Who knows maybe McCain will surprise us all and be the next Reagan.

Here is McCain's Second Amendment page. There is no question that he is superior to Obama when it comes to gun rights.

I don't verbally support Mr. Son-of-Cain. Why in the world would I financially support the bastard?

Besides, he already gets plenty of my money: My taxes go towards paying his $165,000/year salary as a Senator.

So screw McCain and his stupid donations requests.

If there's one thing abot McCain that I do know ... It is that he understands how many people feel about their 2A rights ... Heck, we've got a Democratic governor and she understands this about Arizona ... If she didn't ... She'd probably be gone.

McCain needs to look at how Gore lost his own state in 2000. As much as the media seeks to marginalize gun owners like they do to evangelic Christians, we're a powerful voting block. Anti-gun people only win in the most hardcare liberal states...not in the south and not in the midwest (save Illinois)
