This is from the most recent issue of NRA magazine. It had 6 cards with this info printed on then to tear out and pass along to your friends, so I'm posting it up here!

BARACK OBAMA'S TEN POINT PLAN TO "CHANGE" THE SECOND AMENDMENT

1.) Ban use of firearms for home defense
2.) Pass Federal laws eliminating your Right-to-Carry
3.) Ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns
4.) Close down 90% of the gun shops in America
5.) Ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting
6.) Increase federal taxed on guns and ammunition by 500 percent
7.) Restore voting rights for five million criminals including those who have been convicted of using a gun to commit a violent crime
8.) Expand the Clinton semi-auto ban to include millions more firearms
9.) Mandate a government issued license to purchase a firearm
10.) Appoint judges to the U.S. Supreme Court and Federal judiciary who share his views on the Second Amendment

I've only had my XD for 3 months, I'm not about to give it up, or the right to defend my family. Gun owners use firearms for protection as frequently as 2.5 million times a year... we all know the sayings, but freedom isn't free and if guns are out lawed only the outlaws with have guns. I spoke with one of my good friends who is a NRA trainer in Kansas. What you say in this thread is absolutley spot on to what he told me. This is very discouraging. Obama cannot win this election,and gun owners need to stand up more than ever to ensure that Obama does not win!!!

Yup, I got the cards in my 1st Freedom mag just the other day. Thanks for posting this. It must be understood that if Obama gets into office he will do a ton of damage to individuals rights. One of the most important is the SCOTUS, the fact that 4 of the 9 justicies think that we don't have an individual right to self defense is reason alone to swallow the McCain pill.

That's their plan. Can't impose the socialist/communist system on people who will have the means to fight it.

Never in my lifetime did I think that a person who so blatantly hates his own country would be a serious candidate for President. Pretty much demonstrates how low the democrats have sunk!

The saddest part about it, is that a bunch of my friends, (early 20's) are young skulls full of mush easily persuaded by a guy that can talk well. They don't even think about what he says, they just get caught up in all that talk about "change". It also frustrates me all the people that don't think their 1 vote counts, or dislike McCain so won't vote at all.

Maybe that should be some kind of add..... 1 vote counts, even if it is for Mclame, as long as Obama doesn't get elected.

From my research it apprears that the"10 point plan" write up in American Rifleman magazine is not word for word statements out of Obamas mouth but rather a simplified out line of his past. It's quite clear that the 10 point plan is true, and what Obama would do if he had his way. Here are the facts I found to back the "10 point plan".

The "right of the people" to assemble or to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures is not contested as an individual guarantee.
