Great. A man wants to be President and doesn't even care about family enough to get his own brother to the US for a chance at a better life.

He shouldn't get him a office job or anything, but he should at least see if he wants to immigrate and maybe hook him up driving a taxi or maybe as a janitor.

Maybe George doesn't want to come.

HALF-BROTHER GEORGE
'I would be there for him'
September 9, 2007
BY SCOTT FORNEK Political Editor

During his 1987 visit to Kenya, Barack Obama met with his youngest half-brother, George -- the son of Obama's father and a women the senior Obama lived with before he died.

Obama describes the hastily arranged meeting with the boy outside a schoolhouse as awkward and "painful," reminding him of his own father's visit to him in Hawaii after years of absence.

"I took comfort in the fact that perhaps one day, when he was older, George, too, might want to know who his father had been, and who his brothers and sisters were, and that if he ever came to me I would be there for him, to tell him the story I knew," Obama wrote in Dreams From My Father.

This isn't a "protecting our borders thread".

Might be, depending on how many brothers 0bama's dad had with his various wives.

So...Barack lives here making a VERY comfortable life for himself...knowing all the time that his half-brother lives in total squalor. Nice.

(don't tell me that ol George would not like some help....my bet is that he does)

Knowing this and the fact that up until he thought of running for President, he and Michelle made high 6 figure salaries yet only gave less htan 1% to charity and how can ANY of you admire this goon? What does this say about his character?

How can Barack stand there and tell us that are already paying high taxes that WE need to give more to help those that don't make as much?

Would any of you allow a sibling or half sibling to live like that while you made a very healthy living? Could you do this and have a clear conscience and not feel bad about it? Make no real efforts to help out someone like this...when you live like Barack does? You wouldn't think about this all the time? It wouldn't bug you day in and day out?

If you don't find this totally appalling...that says something about your character as well.

Sorry, but I find this much worse than Edward's affair....it tells me all I need to know about Baracks' character.

...but you all go right ahead and vote for him...you want change.

Disgusting beyond belief.

From the Promtheus school of posting, huh? You really, really need to change you're phrasing BB. The style still sucks.
