I'm sure Putin is going to keep his schedule no matter who is in the oval office. Having said that, I think he'd think a little harder if McCain were the one on the other side of that special phone.

Yep Obama was raised by a muslim with Communistic tendancies so he and Putin have more than a few common beliefs. Plus there's that whole anti war thing.

the policies of aggressive war in multiple fronts have put us in less of a position to TRULY combat russian aggression - what more could an equally aggressive leader want?

Agreed. Given our foreign dependence on oil and our weak economy, we are in a pickle. The bad thing is, we cant outspend them like we did during the Cold War now.
