how is al gore NOT a hypocrite?

Even if he is STARTING to switch to the green messiah he purported to be, he was still preaching conservation while consuming energy at a rate that boggles the mind.

He thinks he can do whatever he wants because he buys carbon credits or whatever other stupid feel good measure he wants to so he can be a typical "do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do" liberal...

You can think he's a hypocrite. I don't.

what part of his actions is NOT hypocritical?

a hypocrite is someone who holds a belief while practicing the opposite of that belief.

Al gore holds the belief that people need to conserve energy while running around in a private jet and living in a tennessee mansion that consumes more power in one month than the average american household does in a YEAR.

his WE campaign even has a list of things that WE should all do to save energy while he guzzles it up by the millions of watts.

so...again...how is this NOT hypocrisy?

I agree that him standing on a stage preaching to everyone how they should conserve while he is using energy like crazy (if that's what he's doing) is hypocritical.

He didn't begin walking the walk until media stories and public pressure got to him. Why did the Oracle of Green wait until then to practice what he preaches if not for hpocricy?

Conservation for thee but not for me.

This is actually really simple ... Carbon Credits are like paying a girl to be quiet about an affair
